Warm wishes from the US Virgin Islands!
As you may know, Hurricane Danny is expected to reach our islands late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. The good news is, the storm is weakening with each hour and we are in desperate need of rain! We are hoping for some light wind and heavy downpours. You can track Danny here: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
The main purpose of this email is two folds. One, last time we had a heavy storm, power was knocked out for a few days. Without power, I had no access to my emails. The 2nd part of that is that we are scheduled to leave on vacation on Wednesday the 26th…with the storm, I’m not sure that will be possible. But if it is, I will be off island from August 26th to September 7th. I will be working over this time but as you know, vacation is vacation, so I won’t be working the whole time! 🙂 With the combination of the storm and our scheduled trip, it is possible that emails could be delayed three or four days. Please don’t panic if you don’t hear from me right away.
